Course Description

SCAFA an agreement with the Business & Hotel Management School, BHMS Culinary Academy, Lucerne, Switzerland. This agreement is a tremendous opportunity for SCAFA graduates to obtain a BA degree as a continuation of their culinary qualifications as a result of BHMS recognizing SCAFA alumni and their SCAFA/City & Guilds qualifications for advanced placement into the Dual Bachelor in Culinary Arts awarded by BHMS, Switzerland and the Robert Gordon University of UK jointly. Alumni who have completed the Pro Finishing program and achieved City & Guilds’ IVQ levels 2 and 3 diplomas (and have 12-months work experience) are eligible to transfer with advanced standing to the third and final year of the Bachelor program following a 10-week pathway program conducted by BHMS in Lucerne. This third year of the degree program is made up of six months of learning at BHMS Lucerne followed by a six-month paid internship in a Swiss hospitality establishment.

BA Degree in Culinary Arts (Dual degree awarded by B.H.M.S. and Robert Gordon University jointly)
